  The heater arrived very quickly, was packaged carefully, and it was easy to screw on the four legs. While the metal does not look like real cast iron, the finish is attractive, and the overall look of the heater is what you would expect from the picture. The 'coals' and 'flame' are surprisingly close to looking like a real fire, and the mesh screen (which is the same as a real fireplace screen) helps the realistic effect. The heat generated is good and adequate for our small living room. There is a hum even when just the flame is on, but it's low, as is the noise when the heater is on. So far everything works very well, although we have only used it four times.

  Decent fake fireplace

  I think little fireplace is decent, it's pretty cute and does the job looks wise. I wish it looked more appealing and real. As for the heater, I wouldn't bother using it, it sucks up too much electricity and costs too much to use. It doesn't heat up that much, only the corner of the area where the fireplace is on. I would purchase another one that is better looking and heats better in the future. For now I guess this one will do.

  Just love this stove.It is perfect.It warms up my livingroom and kitchen nicely,while leaving the bedrooms cool.The flames make a very nice atmosphere at night.

  This item is attractive and the heater works well to warm up a room or corner of our house that is at the end of the central heating system. We can leave the home thermostat set lower as a result. The flame effect is as realistic as one could expect, and the thermostat in the unit cycles the heater on and off appropriately.We actually have purchase four of these. Three work well. The heater in the fourth unit died within a couple months and the unit cannot be repaired. Note that the warranty is only for thirty (30) days, a very short time period. Hence you need to accept some risk that your product will end up in the landfill.

  I love this heater! It's very attractive, throws off some serious heat, and the fire is very realistic. It's lightweight and easy to move from room to room if needed. Really happy with this purchase.
