    Nice and quiet and it really warms the room. The variable flame effect is nice, I like that I can adjust the flame at night etc. Looks good and its not made cheaply.

    Very pleased with this electric Jasper space heater It's quite efficient operation coupled with the soft glow of the fireplace has been most welcome--it has been running constantly for over three weeks straight!! Visitors marvel at how comfortable our large living area is without the use of our wood stove.Thus far I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering it's purchase.

    I returned this item. When the flame effect was turned on it made a loud scraping sound. I wanted to use it on a screened-in patio but it does not put off enough heat for that use. Would probably be OK in a small enclosed room if you can stand the noise or don't turn on the flame effect.

    Great looking, very quiet when in operation, nice flame effect. Have a 4'x18' room that gets fan circulated warm air from pellet stove in next room but does not warm the room well in cold weather. I added this fireplace and it is doing a good job. The temp here in northern Maine this morning is 17 degrees, I started the stove at 3:00 am it is now 6:15 and the room temp is at 63 degrees, very decent. It also has a heavy duty power cord. I have not owned it long enough to check the change in the electric bill but will update this spring.

    I bought this for a friend and her daughter. The daughter's landlord is dragging his heels in getting the heat fixed in her home and she's been trying to use small space heaters that are hardly producing heat but running up the electric bill.The daughter has two children (one is 4 months old, the other is 2 years old). The temperatures had plummeted to the single digits and the landlord couldn't have cared less. The little one developed pneumonia.This arrived when expected, it was in excellent shape, and was easy for my friend to set up. She said it really puts out the heat and has warmed the house very well. The baby is doing better as a result. She also said that the two year old can get close to it without getting burned, so the safety aspect is amazing! My friend also said that it is beautiful and it works perfectly. They are all extremely happy with it. I'm so happy to hear that they are warm now!!

    Very disappointed in this heater. Looks good operates ok.But it does NOT put out the heat the manufacturer claims it should. Outdoor temp 50 degrees it doesn't put out enough heat to heat a12x10 room to 70 degrees.
