    It's pretty (fire looks real), but it takes about an hour to heat up the office area it's in, which is about 100 sq, ft.

    I have purchased other units & had to return, (Dimplex) because it stopped working after six months.Personally, I prefer the look of this unit & the 'flame.' I originally bought the Dimplex because of the 'one of a kind patent' which ensured 'the most realistic' fire... Well, this one's better. More realistic & the unit itself looks more like a wood burning stove. Better quality, etc. & I do believe it was less expensive. Regardless, I am happy w/ this product. I would have given 5 stars but there is a bit of noise when the heater is on & less when the flame alone is on... Occasionally that is annoying to me. But I am more sensitive to noise. More than likely, most people would not notice it.

    A very nice looking unit. The flame is one of the most realistic I have seen. In a very quiet room you can hear a low hum from the fan but it is not disturbing. We have received lots of nice comments on this and two friends took the information so they can buy their own.

    A very nice product. Had ordred one previously and arrived with crack in the top. Return was very easy with no problems. Pros and cons are listed belowProsVery nice design...Has the look of a real cast iron wood burnerAdjustable flame control....Can be adjusted from full flame look to only glowing embersAdjustable heat control with thermostatCan be used with flame only with no heatLight weight....easily moved from room to roomConsSlight rumble noise when flames are operatingRed control buttons can be seen through fron grillDoors close ok, but would be nice to have some sort of magnetic catch to secureA bit on the expensive side, but comperable to most I have looked atOverall, this is very nice, realistic heater. Used in our home in master bedroom, mostly for ambience. Have looked at many big box stores before this purchase and now realize how fake theirs looked. Glad we purchased this one and would recommend.

    Very pleased with this purchase. The flames resemble a real fireplace - great ambience - and the thermostatically controlled heater does just what I wanted - which was to take the chill out of the air as I lowered the central heat. The product looks good in my modern/western themed den. I am very happy with this product and recommend it.

    Great looking fire place at a reasonable price! AND, able to change the lightbulbs that produce the flame effect! Came quickly, well packed and easy to put together. I have it in my living-kitchen, with the TV, Apple TV and Rku sitting on the top! Convenient, attractive ad great size.!!!
