  Great Fireplace

  Pros: I was nervous the accordion doors would look cheap, but they were very High quality and look great.Provides great heat. The timer is a great function.I like that the hot part of the unit is on the top, making it less accessible and safer.The fake looks look great. The flames aren't perfect, but are passable.I love that you can also turn on the flames, without the heat. Great ambiance!Cons: the power switch is VERY difficult to get to. I have to use a pen to access it.The remote it nice, but I would also like buttons on the unit. If the remote is lost, the fireplace is uselessThe mounting bars don't work if you're putting it in a small space (ie: and small fireplace). You can't get to the back to screw it in.Overall I think it is a wonderful fireplace and has great features compared to a few other fireplaces I looked at.

  This unit works great, not only as a decorative appliance

  I purchased the Montreal LED Electric Fireplace Stove Insert with Remote Control by e-Flame USA Ð 26-inches Wide Ð Matte Black unit. I would rate this as 5 stars. This unit works great, not only as a decorative appliance, but also as a functional source of heat. This unit was easy to move with a relatively light weight, and convenient handles on the side. We tried this out in several places in our house including a smaller bedroom, a larger master bedroom, and a our family room. In all areas it provided a nice source of heat that will cut down on the need to use our home heater as much. I love the various options the unit has which consist of a timer option to run it and auto shut off after the set time is up, the ability to change the look and feel of the flame both the color and size of the flame being shown, a convenient remote control, and the ability to run it with or without generating heat. It comes with bracket to help with mounting, but it is sturdy on its own and I have not needed to mount it for my use. It looks very realistic and provides the nice soothing feeling you want from a fire. There is a slight fan noise when the heater portion is turned on, but it is minimal and I did not find it to be distracting at all. This is also great because it can be used as an insert or a stand alone unit for any space you need. Overall I am very happy with this unit and it provides exactly what I expected and more!
