Perfect little secret...

We picked this up to replace one we already had. It helps us save on oil and heats up the 28 x 15 room with no problems. We saved on the oil bill and the electric bill this year. Perfect little secret find.

Mfg packaging, arrived on schedule. Unit is light weight and is easy to assemble. Only used 2 times but it seems to do the job.

Heats room well

Arrived when it was promised. Four leg assembly was easy. Looks very good. The only issue is when I turn on the lighted part it makes a clicking noise. It may have been damaged during shipping. The roller that makes up the fire look rubs up against something and it makes a noise the whole time it is on. Yes a little irritating. But It heats very well and that is what I really needed was the heater part. Sooo.......

Excellent product! I love it! We use it all the time. It really puts out heat. If we don't want heat we just turn on the flames.

Let me start by saying that I've spent a lot of hours looking and researching compact electric fireplaces. This is one of the units I decided to buy. Regarding the packaging, this product arrived in great condition. The fireplace was double boxed and had enough foam to protect the corners from any damage. You have to give extra points to companies that spend a little extra on stronger packaging.Setup was simple. There's an instruction manual included but it's fairly straight forward. The only thing that needed assembly was the four legs. Each had 2 screws and although I used a power drill, it could be easily done with a screwdriver. After the legs were assembled, I plugged it into the wall socket and turned it on and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks. The flames look great and it's definitely a great way to add some extra glow to the room. It looks REALLY good at night.One good thing about this unit is that it can be used without the heater on...great for a little extra ambiance when you want to snuggle up on the sofa at night and watch a movie. I've moved it around to various corners of my home and since it's pretty lightweight, it's easy to move around. The doors swing open to allow access to the control panel. Other than opening them to get to the controls, there's really no need to have the doors open.The heat comes from the fan unit under the fireplace. The fan is pretty quiet which is nice. The real glass makes this unit feel pretty upscale even though the price is fairly reasonable. I've bought a couple other electric fireplaces and this one is my favorite. I've already got a lot of compliments on it from friends and family. I'd highly recommend this fireplace heater to anyone.Pros:- great value- nice design- realistic flame/logs- quiet heaterCons:- no remote control but that's probably good because I'd end up losing it anywayI'll try to post an update in a couple months. Hopefully this unit will last.
