  Looks nice and realistic

  Looks nice and realistic, and creates a cozy feeling, but it doesn't produce enough heat or change the room temperature by much. It just takes the chill off a medium-sized room if you sit close to it, though you won't enjoy the hot drying air blown at you. It has the usual electric heater smell. Buy it only for the looks and if you need a light supplemental heater.

  We love our new standing electric fireplace. It's a great addition to our den and it works like a charm. I really like that you can have heat and the dancing flame or just the dancing flame.

  Very realistic flames

  This fireplace is very small but attractive. Heats only an area about 400 sq ft on high and is very quiet. I was thinking about exchanging it for a bigger unit but the artificial flame is the most realistic fire I have ever seen. It really looks like a real fire.
