  Far exceeds expectations, an excellent choice.

  I cannot praise this unit highly enough. It is cute and efficient. I feel safe with pets around it. The red color is downright fun. We have a 12' x 14' den that it brings to a sauna-like temperature in about 30 minutes. Typically we turn it on low for about an hour and then flip the heater off and leave the light glowing for ambiance. We had a larger electric fireplace previously and this one seems to be far more efficient. Given that our den is small, it sits in front of a sometime-used closet door. I put felt on the feet so we can slide it around easily so access to the door is simple. It is light weight and can easily be moved to other locations around the house. Please do take note of the physical size. If you are looking for a 'statement fireplace' for your room, you might be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a cute heat source for a small space, you will be delighted to find such an ideal package of ambiance, cuteness and efficiency.
