  This item was a gift. I heard back that the top glass bracket had broken. I told the person it went to we could send it back but they had already done something to fix it.

  We absolutely love this heater and it's perfect for our basement. We have a small old, gas fireplace in the basement and preferred to have an electric option to use in the space. This heater is perfect and looks great! It puts out a lot of heat and is easy to control - very satisfied.

  So far it's performing as I hoped. I keep this unit running in my livingroom on carpet in my 2 bedroom apartment. I installed plastic insulation on the windows and one space heater in my kids bedroom. So far the main has heated have yet the kick on. The unit been very warm and cozy, I love it, great addition and save $$$ on gas bill. I'm paying a set electric bill and the pricing hasn't even budge. I don't know the longevity but overall i love the unit.
